Our annual Longboard coaching weekend in Newquay this October 2nd – 4th is being held by the legendary Sam Lamiroy, costs just £149pp and will take your logging up a notch by covering surfing technique (cross stepping, nose riding, generating speed, etc), fitness in surfing, board design, surfing psychology, oceanography and more.
Two nights twin room accommodation and breakfast is included in the price and you can check into the Lodge from 4pm on Friday, so we can all meet up in the evening for a few drinks Newquay and get to know each other.
The next day the course starts at 10am, depending on the surf conditions we will aim to have an initial surf session to evaluate everyone’s level. Lunch (included) will follow and from here on in, the course structure is designed to fit with the best tides, and location.
We normally finish up around 2pm on Sunday allowing plenty of time for people to head off in the car, or catch the plane home.
We will provide you with the coaching to take your longboarding to the next level, but above all the weekend promises the opportunity to enjoy a break away from the stresses and strains of modern life whilst honing your skills on the water. You’ll also have heaps on fun!
